The Active Work on Detecting the Serious Criminal Offence in Ruse Continues


A Taskforce for detection of the serious criminal offence in Ruse was established. It includes the Minister of Interior, Mr. Mladen Marinov, the Director of the General Directorate for Combating Organised Crime, Chief Commissioner Ivaylo Spiridonov, and prosecutors from the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office of Cassation.

The possible involvement of a number of persons in committing the crime has been subject of examination. A Romanian citizen of Ukrainian origin was currently detained in Ruse Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior and his alibi is being clarified – this was the interim information on the active work of the taskforce, provided by the Director of Ruse Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, Senior Commissioner Teodor Atanasov.
