National meeting on election security held at the Ministry of Interior

A national meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior was held today at the General Directorate “National Police”, focusing on measures to ensure security and prevent violations related to the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Participants discussed actions against vote buying, controlled voting and other election-related offences, as well as the coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor’s Office.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Interior Emil Dechev, Deputy Prosecutor General Vanya Stefanova, deputy ministers Ivan Anchev, Kaloyan Kaloyanov and Kaloyan Miltenov, as well as senior officials of the Ministry, including the acting Chief Secretary and directors of national, administrative and regional police directorates.
