Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, Acting Secretary General of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, attended the European Police Chiefs Convention in The Hague on 29–30 September.
Organised by Europol and the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the event brought together over 500 delegates from 59 countries.
Discussions focused on the future of Europol, artificial intelligence in law enforcement and community-based approaches to preventing radicalisation.
Chief Commissioner Nikolov also held bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening operational cooperation and addressing shared European security priorities.
