Payment of fines in foreign currency
The following penalties are imposed under the Road Traffic Act – penal statement, slip and electronic slip.

Foreign nationals who have temporary or permanent residence or pass in transit through the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, on the territory of the country they can pay the fines due under the Law on Road Traffic.
One of the possibilities to pay traffic fine is through 17 POS terminals in 9 Border Crossing Points – Vidin (Danube Bridge 2); Ruse (Danube Bridge), Silistra, Kapitan Andreevo, Lesovo, Makaza, Kulata-Promachonas, Gyueshevo and Kalotina and in 242 POS terminals in 28 Ministry of Interior (MoI) structures.
