The Internal Security Directorate - Ministry of Interior, successfully completed the implementation of project BG65ISNP001-5.012-0001 "Establishment of Center for active monitoring in the system of the Ministry of Interior".
The project has a total value of BGN 154,700 and was implemented with the financial support of the National Program of Bulgaria under the Internal Security Fund. For the period from 11.10.2017 till 11.12.2021 the project management and implementation team managed to achieve the following pre-set results:
- The new Center for active monitoring in the system of the Ministry of Interior is administratively regulated and technically provided with specialized technical equipment;
- 3 anti-corruption measures were methodically developed and introduced, based on new technical solutions for automated permanent direct audio and video surveillance, for the usage, processing and storage of operational information from various sources and for wider control executed by police officers of the Ministry of Interior;
- Printed edition containing information about three anti-corruption measures introduced in the system of the Ministry of Interior.
At the closing conference organized on 16th November 2021, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Chief Commissioner Stoyan Temelakiev, on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, evaluated the project as innovative and highly effective and with outstanding contribution to combating crime among Ministry of the Interior.
